Today we're going to do a couple more stretches for that shoulder work.
Okay, I want you to come down on the side. So just lay down on the ground
and you're just going to extend your arm forward and back.
Now as you get stronger with these you can hold on to the weight but when you first start
you don't want to use any weight at all.
Okay, now we're going to extend it to the front and lift up.
Okay, and then drop the elbow onto your side and just lift the arm up.
Yeah, go like that.
Go at your own pace here.
If you can't bring your arm all the way up, just bring it up halfway and down.
And you can really feel that shoulder, that rotator cuff working there.
Mine's a little bit sore because I'm still doing the repair from when I popped it out last year before we moved.
So that's why I'm showing you guys how to do these.
Okay, and then extend the arm out. Just let it relax on the arm there.
You can really feel, especially this one, it really works that rotator cuff.
So we're just going to extend the arm out.
And then we're going to switch sides.
And we're going to do the same thing on that other side.
Okay.
You're in an L shape, you want to keep your core engaged.
Again, you're just going to sweep the arm forward and back.
I'm doing 12, but if you want to do 8 or 4 you can do that.
