These stretches work if you do the assisted with a yoga strap. Do them every day until your IT bands, inner, outer tendons, and hamstring stretch out. Breath deeply and keep your abs and leg muscles squeezed tight while you do them. Go slow and listen to your body it will tell you what it can do. Okay, we'll come back everybody.
So today we're gonna do this side nerve stretch.
You can use yoga blocks if you can't get all the way down.
We're just gonna start on the back.
So lay down.
You're gonna bring the knees in.
We're gonna extend the left leg straight out.
And you wanna keep that foot flexed.
The right leg comes up.
And we're using the strap to help assist us.
So just gonna go back in little circles here.
Keep the leg muscles squeezed,
the core engaged, foot flexed.
Nice deep breathing.
And we're just gonna do eight.
And we're gonna switch direction.
And now we're gonna drop down two more loops
and we're gonna do some big circles.
And then just listen to your leg.
Only go as far as feels comfortable.
And just use that strap to really work
into all the areas of the hip joint.
And we're gonna switch direction.
And now we're gonna hold the foot up here.
So only lift as far as is comfortable for your hamstring.
Keep the foot flexed.
And we're very gently gonna start to windshield wiper.
Keep everything engaged, core, legs, foot flexed.
Okay, and then when we get to the eighth one,
we're just gonna let it come down.
So you want same arm, same leg.
And you wanna keep the hip on the floor, on the floor.
